CLK 55 AMG
Hello,

sorry if this has been covered before. I have a 2003 CLK 55 AMG, it's coming up on a year since it had a B service at MB Manchester (when I bought it). I've only done 4500 miles and the service thing says it's got 5000 odd still to go.

I wondered if I should get it serviced anyway as it's a year since it's had an oil change, or if I'm ok to leave it until it says it actually needs servicing (probably next year sometime)?

The car has 42000 odd on the clock and apart from needing an mot seems 100% fine (famous last words).

Thanks in advance

I'd get the oil changed at a local indi or DIY :)

Then get it serviced as per normal next year on time (within 2 years of the last service to keep the mobilo warranty intact)

The ASSYST interval is mileage/condition based, and a max of 2 years IIRC?

My 54 plate CLK270 CDI Assyst goes 18 months between services and that is fine. Take advantage of modern oils and materials. Let the Assyst tell you when.
I've only done 27000 miles but I'm happily settled in to an 18 month routine now. I perceive it as a perk of having an MB

In fact, as Will says, it has gone 2 years before calling for a service.
