driver side side belt does not retract fully sometimes, over the 3 yrs i've owned the car dents and now cracked loudspeaker cover have occurred in the innner door.

after blaming my daughters and their friends for doing this damage as they have got in and out of the car, i have finally realised it was the seat belt hitting against the edge of the seat and door, and not there feet.

any suggestions where i could get a new inner door skin and or a cover for the know badly cracked loudspeaker cover.

then the problem with sticking seat belt, anysuggestions on fixing this would be greatly appreciated.

finally my climate control does not work at all last week just packed up after working intermitantly for a week or so, fuse ok, front windscreen demister does not work also.

this has all happened in the last month after deciding to stay loyal to a car which had given me trouble free motoring for 3 yrs.

I have exactly the same problem with my seatbelt. I reported it as a fault to my dealer when the car was 12 months old, but what do you know, they couldn't find the fault

I persisted and they, alledgedly, replaced the belt ... still didn't and doesn't retract properly though. Just more careful about 'forcing' it back in now.

it costs £300 to swap out the belt mech and belt on the passenger side

i know because i had it done when the belt was pulled out fully and there wasn't enough travel to dislodge the ratchet for a wind back

cr*p car, wish i could afford to sell it
