CLS 218 80 litre fuel tank - apparently

How much have others managed to get into their CLS 218 fuel tanks? The most I've ever managed is just over 70 litres. Is the tank really 80 litres? what happens when I don't refuel after the fuel warning goes red (miles-left range no longer shown). Is there some kind of reserve? Is there really 2 gallons left?

Usually 2 gallons when the orange light goes on...dirty air probably when red appears.

I have the same size tank and rarely see much over 70ltrs.

Having said that I tend to fill up before a day or two has passed after the light comes on, I'm risk adverse that way see?

I rarely go below 2/3 empty. Only once seen the reserve light come on, I dared not prod the accelerator....

I'm a keen exponent of fuel light bingo so treat the low fuel light as a challenge from those conservative German engineers. Even running it down to zero range usually 30 miles after the light comes on I still only get 75 - 77 litres in, must try harder.
Obviously I will soon be posting a thread about how to prime the fuel system when I've run it out of diesel.
