The handbook mentions imminent death should I go near a bi-xenon bulb! But....am I right in thinking I've got good old H7s if they're not self-levelling?

H7 sounds correct. I believe that all Xenon lights came with self levelling and headlamp washers.

Does your car have a manual beam hight adjustment?

Yes, it does, so I'm assuming H7s.
