CLS facelift LED Tail lights upgrade

Hello,

i'm happy to show you the video of the first Plug & Play module,
that allows you to swap your old Tail lights for the
LED Tail lights from the 2009+ facelift model.

Every lights are working perfectly without generating any error on
Your Instrument Cluster.

To upgrade your tail lights, you'll have to remove the plastic traverse in the trunk to Access all bolts, and bend a little bit side carpets.
Then, unscrew the 5 bolts of the Tail light, swap it with the new one, fix it with the 5 bolts, plug the module on your OEM connector (harness of the car), without cutting anything, and plug the other connector (from the module) to your new Tail light. Then you'll just have to attach the module on the traverse bar above the rear SAM, and that's it !

As you will see on the video, the sample is not completely finished, need to drill a hole In the box to run wires Safely out of it.
Everything will be ok on the finished product.

Looks similar to the Miranda cable boxes for various new BMW's may be an idea to use those as an idea to get ures looking good too. Good concept though

looking good frency, good little mod, the convertor box is neat and clean, which year did they facelift the lights to total LED?

mb never made total LED on the e211 only the brake light was made LED

Actually, they're not Full Led...the Reverse and Fog lights still Hallogen (16w).

But the "Citylights", Brake lights and Turn signal are using LED.

The 2009 Model was the second Facelift of the W219.

Today i took all the pics during installation of both Tail lights.

I'll write a DIY with a lot of pics.

Here one pic of the prototype, but the final product will be a bit different for better integration, but of course still Plug & play.

And of course, still have "No Errors" on the IC...

The white gauges are sweat !

Where did you find them ? Are they Custom made, or did you take those from the facelift model ?

I've done some modifications to my interior as well

I wrap all mat wood Parts with 3M 3D dynoc CF, and wrap the roof with Satin Black.
I think i can't change the Front Grill, since i've the DISTRONIC.
I added 2 DVD 9" Headrests for my kids, and a DVB-T Tuner with a 4 directions antena.

I've also changed my Wood/leather heated steering wheel, for a full leather one, heated as well.

The modules for Plug and Play Led lights mod' are ready, but all reserved, a third batch should be ready soon.

Hi there i am new to these forums and just wanted to find where i can purchase the module to allow me to connect the later facelift led rear lights for CLS, i am about to purchase my new car and my decision relies on whether or not i can get the module or not.
