Well finally got around to fitting my S/c pump
today , overall about 11/2 hr job , pretty straight
forward if you have all the proper tools ,
Good pliers , pipe clamps and some 10/8 mm
sockets .0h and a couple of led torches ;)

Had a test run tonight on my favourite duel carriageways what a difference , full power
On tap ,fighting for grip right up to ...;)

Hi,
Replaced mine not so long ago, as I had monitored my IAT's and they were up well over 100c after one or two WOT runs.
What pump did you fit? Bosch 010?

Yes Bosch 010 , got from America

Bosch 010 is the one i fitted to mine too. it was £120 with import duties and around 50 to fit.

My IATs were 80c before the pump and now its sitting at 40ish

So that's made a big difference to temps .
Mercedes wanted about £450 I think supply/fit .

Anyone got a link for the Bosch 010 from the states ?
Thanks

That's the one I purchased ,arrived pretty quickly too .

I have one of these sitting in my boot waiting to be fitted. I really must get this sorted now. Also have kleemann headers and EC heat exchanger... Just been too busy to organise fitting doh :wallbash:

Hi,
Having just upgraded my phone to an Iphone can anyone recommend an App as the one I had on my Android phone does not appear available in the Iphone App store

Believe you need the wifi version for use with an iPhone...not really an upgrade was it

Elm and suitable app is the choice for most.

Sorry, what's Elm?

Please don't say a tree ;-)

I see the apps in Play Store but would be wary of plugging any old rubbish into the OBD port and leaving it there (presumably). As such interested to know what others use safely & reliably.

you need Bluetooth ODB scanner and then buy APP and you can read various readings from Engine.

P.S. DO NOT LEAVE it plugged in, it will drain your battery in 36 hours or so.

Had the pump and remap done at the same time 3 months ago. Just about used to it now although still forget sometimes and the power reminds you really quickly. Quaife LSD before any more power.

Thanks amo. Just any BT obd scanner or are there 'good ones?'
