So I've finally managed to get a chance in the 10 days I've had my CLS to give it a wash by my own hand. The be fair it was pretty damn clean when I picked it up but until you get your hands on your car it's not quite yours.

First up was the Valet Pro Citrus pre-wash, followed by a rinse and two bucket wash with microfibre mitts and Dodo Juice Born to be Mild shampoo.

Gave the car a quick coat of Gyeaon Wetcoat and a wipe down with Britemax Spray and Shine. The car has a coat of Gtecniq C1 and EXO applied already.

Also gave the engine a wipe down with some Autoglym Rubber and Vinyl care as it had been kept clean anyway.

Mid week I'd managed to give the interior a once over, again not particularly dirty but can never be too clean right?

Thank you. Yes, it really has been cared for.

Much like buying a new car, I just need to maintain it!

What time do you want me to bring mine round??

Nice job Alex :)

Looks awesome - Helps to motivate me to get outside and scrub off the dead bugs off the front of mine......

Hanks for the kind words guys. I am so pleased with the car, comes up so well. Also today's weather was perfect for car cleaning!

Looks lovely-Where did you get the foot rest/dead pedal from? I think my 'E' needs one

It was on the car when I bought it I'm afraid. I can ask if it was aftermarket, I just assumed it was standard.

I've been used to having a foot rest as all the Renaults I've owned have a had foot plates. I tend to keep my left foot well out of the way in the CLS though. Since it's redundant in an auto haha.

Very nice indeed:thumb:

That car looks familiar and if it's the 63 I'm thinking of then you have got yourself a really great example. I could be wrong but the Renault Megane 225 connection gives it away:thumb:

Would your E55 have been detailed by the same person who owns an R26.R Megane?

If so I admired your car when it was worked on!

It is a standard item, its exactly the same as the one in my car.
