No difference in power but the fixed is always engaged. The fixed pulley has no way of disengaging when the heat starts to rise. I've also read the FSP is harder to map on the US forums.

A Fixed pulley removes the last safety feature in the ECU i.e. pulley disengage, so if you are not monitoring IAT you can cause some serious damage.
