I've searched but can't seem to find a definite answer.... What's the pros and cons ? Is one better than the other, last longer? Make more/less power

Clutched every time for me. No difference in power but the fixed is always engaged.
The fixed pulley has no way of disengaging when the heat starts to rise.
I've also read the FSP is harder to map on the US forums.

Stay with clutched on the 55 platform, unless you make major upgrades on cooling and data monitoring (i did and would still not fit the FSP).

A Fixed pulley removes the last safety feature in the ECU i.e. pulley disengage, so if you are not monitoring IAT you can cause some serious damage.

Have a read on my cooling thread as it shows what happens even with a poorly performing IC pump.
