Comand 2.5 has two sets of inputs for CanBus from what I have managed to find out from the net and forums.
Getting info on the exact plug layout is difficult, as it seems that the 2.5 is not retrofitted as much as the 2.0.
There was a great HOW TO fit a 2.5 to a V Class on a German V Class owners website, with wiring diagrams etc but it seems to have disapeared.
Would be good if someone had a definative wiring layout for all of the plugs on a 2.5, including the bigger one at the back/bottom of the unit.

The two sets you refer to are private CAN for the TV and interior CAN for the steering controls and so on.

If it helps, you can get the radio and tape player of a Comand 2.5 working by plugging in the connectors from your existing HU.
Power for the TV and CD player comes from the large plug at the bottom of the unit I believe.
Been to busy to try this, but I presume that if you took a power feed from the existing HU power cables and connected them to the correct
pins on the large plug then you could probably get the TV screen and CD working as well.
However, getting it to work as a SATNAV unit is another matter. From what Miro has said, if you don’t have steering controls maybe it would work with only one CanBus signal as per a Comand 2.0 into the top plugs on the 2.5 (If that makes sense)
