COMAND 2.5 TV Tuner manual

Does anyone know how to get hold of a manual for the TV Tuner in a 2.5 COMAND?

Unfortunately it is for a later model.

A pdf version here. It's for the American version, so a few differences, but general principles are covered.

I can tomorrow look up the part number of my UK COMAND manual if you like. You can then order one.

Yes, it is 2.5 DX, the manual has no mention of TV though. I see from the part number the 215 manual I have is a 220, so your part number should be fine for me. How much are manuals anyway?

Just remembered that mine did not come with the book.

I went into the local MB and ordered,,all they wanted was the chassis number, and it took 7 days, if the TV book is seperate then they will have the part number for the exact one

Are you saying the TV manual was separate? That would make sense. What is the part number of the TV manual?

On your car you have the Comand manual I believe, but there is no TV section in it, therefor there must be a seperate book for the TV on the car, Have you asked a dealer,,they have a list of all publications.

With quite a few 215 cars on the forum another member must know

Just been on the phone to the parts department of my local dealers. They say there is no separately avaiable documentation for TV and it is not included in any COMAND manual for my car.

That ones easy, just hold down the button that you want it stored on for more than 2 seconds.

In the memory, press the tuning button, the basic tuning menu will appear.
Turn the righ hand knob until the TV memory is high lighted, and press the knob.
Turn the knob until the desired memory location is high lighted,
Press the knob for more than 2 seconds

note if you preass the 0-9 bttun for mor than 2 seconds this will directly save the tuned station in the relerant memory.
