COMAND firmware update

I was on benzworld.org, and was told there was a firmware update available for the COMAND 2.5 system.

Anyone here know about this? Anyone here got one that they could lend/sell to me?

My car is a year 2000 and the comand unit is by bosch

Your car is quite likely to have this update already - what year is your car?

I 'think' one of the things the MY01 update added was destination entry by postcode (or the first part of the postcode).

My car is a MY2000. The postcode thing already works on mine. But it "crashes" a lot. If I press a button (sometimes), the whole thing freezes.

the way to tell if you have it is when entering an address the letters of streets etc which dont exist are greyed out so you cant select them
