Comand Nav CD Question

I have a 'friend' who is looking at getting Comand retrofitted into his W203 C Class and wants to know if a copy of a 2003 DX Nav CD will work rather than the original ?
Any one tried using their backup copy of 'their' original CD ..

Also, my friend, being a new member to MBClub does not know anyone who has a 2003 DX Nav CD that could supply a copy for testing purposes. Any suggestions on a source for this would be appreciated....in cash, paypal etc etc

hi steve, backup copies of your own orignal work fine stop them getting scratched as well if you dont have a cd changer and need to keep taking the disc out. (burn at 1 x speed)

try ebay for sources or try the net, something like edonkey there are some on their p2p network.
