Just noticed this on COMAND sistem. When of you could see better. Anybody having this issue or know what it is

If you go on the German w213 forum, there is plenty about this, and most German dealers replaced them free of charge. It was happening on many 2016-2018 w213, it was a known fault over there.

But still nothing like my screen. Don't think they will do something without to be charged a lot. Is out of the warranty.

The link I posted, was exactly the same problem as yours. There are also others in the uk who have had same issues, so it’s a known fault on the early w213.

Do you know or heard somebody that had they're screen replace by Mercedes free of charge? Because my car is out of warranty and o don't think they will replace the screen like a good gesture.

Yes in Germany many have. Here I don’t know of any.

We are not in Germany. So here they will not accept any responsibility for a manufacturer fault. They just trying to reap you off. I will send an email to Mercedes customer service and maybe they will help me.

How do you know if they are going to “rip you off “ until you ask.

Because they all do that . I had problems with other cars they admitted that is a fault with the car and they done nothing. The car was still in the warranty. And for a fuse to change it the will charge you like £20. For a map update they charge you in between £150 to £200

So just an update. I have booked the car in for a diagnostic and how I said they will charge me £144 just one of they're technicians to come to look at the screen. And if Mercedes Germany accept liability that is a manufacturer fault I will not have to pay nothing and they will change the screen free of charge. But is a big IF ACCEPT LIABILITY.
