Command Recall 2010 e-class

new eclass 250cdi into dealer for first A service today and told recall / update required for Command. Takes 3 hours to update and they ran out of time hence car rebooked for next month. Anyone know what this update actually does?

Firmware updates and new maps I believe. Its the new maps that take a couple of hours.

When you have it done, can you let us all know if it adds 7 digit post-codes to the satnav ?

Yes it does; just had my E350CDi estate with Comand done and now has 7 digit postcode
Not sure about mapping but presumably includes updates
having said that, my home postcode is wrong gives odd numbers rather than evens!
