Command V's Kenwood DVD GPS System

I waiting on the ICE until I find that elusive black leather interior coz it'll be much easier to change speakers and lay any cabling when the inside of the car is gutted (having new carpets too). I'm hoping i'll have tracked down a good quality leather trim within the next four weeks, my name and works number must be registered with 100 breakers yards dotted around the country :D

Very much so, that's about £250 overpriced. I paid nearly the same for the DNX8220BT which is a vastly better piece of kit.

The Bluetooth unit should be onboard with that unit.

That includes fitting..... which for someone with two left hands like me quite important..... if you know where i can get it fitted for £750 please can you let me know ....cheers:D

With the original Kenwood that we were discussing then surely it depends on the options you elect to have with it? TMC. Blue Tooth. TV monitor etc etc I have mentioned Blue Tooth because that is a cost option on the Kenwood.

Im considering this package for the SEC

From bass Junkies:

Kenwood 522 + G421 Nav - £780
Kenwood CD Changer - £120
Kenwood Digital TV - £230

Total £1130

Anyone know any other good/cheap sites?

It is on previous units, but for 2008 they seem to be aiming more towards 1-box units. Mine has integrated TMC and Bluetooth, the only option I had to add was the DVB TV tuner. The BT suffix denotes onboard Bluetooth, and the TMC is included for integrated nav units.

Crockers, I was working on a basis of an approx £50 fitting fee on a £700 internet purchase price. I'll check with my installer and see what he can do for a "supply and fit".

Jay - also look at JustKenwood & Car Audio Security.

I note on the very latest DNX5220BT it comes complete with both TMC and bluetooth and sells for £729.95p but it mentions this which is on the last line!!

Handsfree phone calls and audio streaming from accessory Bluetooth adaptor KCA-BT200

This is a £99 cost option

Unless I am missing it the KCA-BT200 isnt needed with the DNX5220BT as it is built in... check your page can you see it mentioned at the bottom or do i need my glasses again..:D

I think that's webmonkey laziness John, he's used the same text for both the vanilla (which does need the adaptor) and BT versions (which has the Bluetooth unit onboard)

I'm sure your right as the last part of the model number is 'BT' which I'm guessing might stand for Blue Tooth??

Some more links for the DNX5220BT.
http://www.incarexpress.co.uk/view_product.php?partno=DNX5220BT £666.66

Also remember that most cars would need a double din facia plate,
http://www.incarexpress.co.uk/view_product.php?partno=CT23MB03A
this is the C class W203 facelift version, but there are others. £39.99

Then there's the various leads to connect to the car's wiring harness and screens needed. Here is a copy of what I thought I would need for a W203, this doesn't include general video and audio connections but gives the general idea. I wonder if Halford have thought of all of the below.
