Hello

Not sure but there must be one....its just the cost I guess?

How different are they?

My 2003 S211 aparently with few mods will fit a 2009 E63 bumpers, grille, etc.

Anything is possible, if the bumpers almost fit straight on then it 'could' be fairly easy job? spraying and fitting the parts. Finding genuine ones at sensible money could be more tricky.

There is a company in Germany that make old shape models look like the next model.... It really is I think how much you are willing to pay to have it done.

This is an OLD slk made to look new.... Your SL they can make 'look' like an SLR...

someone mentioned £4-5k but they failed to mention the name of the company. Im thinking of maybegetting an SL55 on a 05/06 and giving it a facelift

Why not put the money plus your car together and buy a newer one ?

^ it still would not look like the latest ones if you did that.

If you know of a creative bodyshop they could simply order all the parts and paint them up to fit, it's mostly bumpers etc at the rear but the front is likely wings, bonnet, bumpers, grill and headlamps.

Could be done and would look very good just depends how much you would like to spend on the update conversion

The R230 is the nicest looking SL ever produced, don't put the horrible new front on it.

Locally there is a C124 with a 210 front on it. First time I saw it I had to make a double take - it looks good and odd all at the same time. Kind of a Frankenstein car.
