Correct diagnosis, creaking sound?
My car: Mercedes ML270 CDI year 2004 Mileage 65000
Have noticed creaking noise (like bed springs) occasionally getting in and out of car and when car pointing down on slope just after applying hand brake car moves forward slightly and creeks , also if rock the car same creaking sound.

Also when going over rough ground or cattle grid like surface noticed a different sound, a rattling which sounds like it's coming from the underneath of the car , can only hear this with window open, do not notice any creaking sound though.

Have been told lower front ball joints need replacing (excessive play) and anti roll bar bush/link rod for stabiliser bar/link rod for anti roll bar need replacing. Also need new brake discs and pads all round

Are these the cause of the creaking and rattling sound?

Bottom ball joints 100% if the noise is on the front?
