Who's upgraded their original MB-supplied stereo for something flashy?

Want to sell it on? Let me know what it is and how much you want.

I have a stereo-less W124 at the moment, and I need something to drown out the wind noise (other thread)

Back then, wouldn't a gaping hole have been standard fit?

I can remember as a youth going with my grandparents to BMW/Merc dealers on car shopping trips, and a radio being an optional extra.

That said, I might have a period Blaupunkt unit in the loft - I will check this weekend.

Hi guys. Yes, I bet a lot of the poverty spec W124s shipped with no radio. :)

Although this one has enough toys that it must have had something (thinks: I probably ought to check that there are some wires behind the blanking plate...)

Nick - just one! :) If you guys turn a suitabel one up, could you PM me with your price?
