Ok lastnight rook my car to the shops, drove fine there, when i got back in the car got half way home, give it a bit to go up the hill, and soon as esp lit the car went into limp mode, started juddering/hunting and cut out, i had teo faults come up "esp defective and electical componats switched off with a pic of a battery, took me a few attempts to get the cat to start, would fire upand die strait away, when it did start it idled at 2000rpm and was juddery all the way home, turned off sterio and heater backed onto my drive and the revs droped to normal, it stoped hunting and the faults were gone, i went in the house, came back out and started the car, no problems, no faults, and drove fine like nothing happened? Totaly stumped and worried about this one, any sujestions??

The first thing I would be suspecting is electrical power issues (battery or alternator).

These cars do some weird things if the power is not right.

I'd start there although I would be taking it to a decent inde to get it checked out - Wright Tech, who I use, are in Sidcup...

Ok update the cars been in at Ferraghini supercar specialists in westerham for a star diag, outcome is throttle position switch andaccelerator switch at a pro
Ice of £550 fitted, bit steep if u ask me, kinda baffled how throttle position fault relates to esp defective???? Am i being had??

Have to wait on other replies as to whether that sounds normal!
