Hi, I've been lurking for a few months now, super forum by the way, i've moved from VAG to MB and am very happy with the CL55, however, I have nowhere to put a cup/bottle in the car.
There is a cubbyhole just behind the gear selector, if I put a cup in it, it won't come back out!
Any ideas guys?
Regards Colin.

This is an optional extra that replaces the insert in the cubbyhole you mention. Part no is A2156800014

You should have two cupholders in the front of the rear armrest however.

Welcome Silver!

I made the same move as you and love every minute :-)

Can't help you with your cupholder though...

It's an extension of the 'No TV in motion' safety campaign. When you go above 10kph it locks the cup so you can't drink and drive ;)

And where could I get this part at a reasonable price?
Thanks, by the way, Colin.

Just got, and fitted my new cupholder...yipee!
£50 delivered brand new, give me a shout if anyone wants one.
Colin.

OT Silver - but I see you're into old watches. I've got some early Heurs and a very nice (mint!) Breitling 806 Navitimer :-)

Vintage

Cool, I've got a couple of them myself.

Heuer 1133b

Breitling 806, 809, 9106

Lovely vintage pieces, I collect mainly 70's stuff, mostly Omega.
Scans?
Colin.
