poll for current prices of fuel....

****** BASED ON UNLEADED *****

I only ever use Optimax so the price is limited.

I paid 99.9p per litre yesterday for Optimax, I did notice that unleaded was 93.9p per litre though.

96.9 a litre yesterday in liverpool. I went to around 10 garages yesterday trying to find out without a big queue and was not successful. One garage had 10 quid rations, then ran our altogether.

I counted 27 cars in a queue last night on New Islington. Every garage I've passed today has had a queue too....

our local station pushed the price up by 2.5p per litre yesterday when the queues started.

I'd filled up at about 10 am just after the garage had recived a delivery with no wait an hour later they were queuing around the corner

Andy

£1.03.9 pence per liter of bp ultimate diesel......he had no petrol left but 5000 lits of diesel.....

95.9 unleaded around my way in stafffordshire if there is any left for them to sell

both cars full of diesel.

Queue round the corner and only optimax left at 99.9p per litre.

Thank goodness both cars are diesel :) Combined range now of 1300 miles :bannana: :bannana:

Both Texaco garages nearby were 103.9p yesterday with long queues, this morning both have dropped the price to 96.9p and guess what - no queues.

"There's nowt as queer as folk, I say, There's nowt....", as Fred Elliot would say.

just paid 98.9 per ltr,Diesel. no queuing on A2 near Gravesend, saw €1.52 for unleaded in southern France yesterday

Just seen Optimax @ 107.9 / ltr today at the services the other side of the Avonmouth bridge on the M5. Unleaded was 97.9 I think ,and the derv was 99.9 Just got two words for them, ROBBING B******S

As I said in another thread, and voted on this one, I paid 90.9 yesterday at Tesco's

The gang of thieves put it up 2p a litre overnight, was 92.9 when I passed today

Queues very limited down here..... not for long I am sure.
Now I wish I had opted for the large tank LPG conversion....

92.9p here in Fife but I paid 103.9p three weeks ago on the Isle of Arran (standard unleaded on both counts).

Personal opinion(although my reputation is bad anyway :) ):

You people make me laugh... Driving Mercs and crying about the fuel prices... :) Get a Nissan Micra :)

I'm driving a 5.0 ltr armoured (veeeery heavy) monster and full tank doesn't last a week for me. And I'm not crying. Look at teh whole world. There isn't a place where the fuel prices are NOT rising. And look at the economy of Britain (as I've see fuel price comparison with other countries somewhere on this forum). Example - average Lithuanian is making 800 LTL (Lithuanian Litas) per month. Fuel price? 3.20 LTL per litre. Imagine how would it be if you'd make 800 GBP per month and would have to pay 3.20 GBP per litre. What would you say then? :)

I know - I'll get trashed for this opinion, but still... I think I'm making a point here...

I believe fuel prices are the same regardless of the type of car.

I get 250 miles from 20 litres in my Smart!! About 55 MPG So not too worried about the costs, just could do with a bigger than 22 litre tank with the queues!!
