Damaged E320 could be put back on road

God help you if you buy that after its been repaired! The sad thing is the buyer wont even know the car was ever in this state!

That must be a spares job the damage would be just too extensive to repair (even badly repair) on this shell.
I guess another worry is its identity could easily be transferred to a stolen vehicle as it is unrecorded.

at a guess because he didn't have insurance to cover the event (e.g. no insurance or TP cover only) - would only be recorded if it goes thru the system

As Dougal said - surely not economical to repair and resell, even privately?

Its a side impact. So my guess is that someone smashed into the merc driver. So even if he did not have insurance, it would still be covered by the driver of the other car and thus should have been recorded.

Bradford is a really "dodgy" place for trading/buying used cars...

Your right, values on wrecks like this are inflated by the large demand from the professional cloners.

The bloody thing's been turned into a banana! Look carefully at the pics of the "undamaged" side and you can see the bend!

Repair- I think not.

Not sure I'd even buy that for parts...
