leaving the interior stock, except for a bit of stereo stuff, but all hidden behind the OEM grilles etc, don't want to ruin the look.

Really like the interior of the Mercs, feels soo much nicer than all the VW's I've owned in the past.

Tell me about spending the money, difficult to know when to stop.

I ordered a set of smoked side repeaters from MTS in Germany, but they haven't turned up yet. I'm not sure my order went through, sometimes the German language is a real barrier.

Send me a pic of them over if possible and how much you want for them, also where abouts in country you are.

sounds perfect, I want the OEM ones, I don't want the oval later spec ones.

Smoke OEM is better imho.

It was a close call, went to look at E36 328i touring, but just couldn't bring myself to buy it, they not quite as reliable, and there's the image problem. Plus the interiors aren't quite as plush.

You sold the cosworth yet?

Nah not yet, have had a few interested people but no ones met my asking price and i'm not going to give it away, in my own opinion its one of the best out there.

I moved to East London outskirts about 2 years ago, still often over west London but cheaper out East.

Hold out for your asking price, someone will pay it eventually.

It is indeed amazing - looks so much better for it - but I can't believe those wheels still go in anything other than a straight line

The rears don't rub at all, the front is too low though after driving it all day today.

It's coming up 1" tomorrow and we're rolling the inner arch lip to give some more clearance.

By end of tomorrow I'll have full lock on the steering again.

diamond cut & lacquered, thankfully they are salt proof otherwise bare polished you have to keep cleaning them every day with metal polish.

Still think your MAE's look better but they out of my price range.

Looking great, have you thought about colour coding the bumpers instead of changing them for the facelift, R2D2 has just done his today:
