Dipstick not staying in

Keep a couple in the boot for emergencies.

television, don't panic we all know why you said what you did..:)

Driving down the Euston road back in the 60s the car infront moved away from the lights and there was a piston and half a con rod laying in the road, I picked it up and asked if it was his at the next lights, Oh no he said and reved the engine up and bang it fell out in bits into the road, so anything is possible.

Not a good day today, just had my ex on the phone complaining about what I did in 1984 on Sept 11th at 2pm, I have been divorced for 15 years Rant over

I will dig out a photo of a merc of forgotten vintage in the yemen , where the drive had a spare piston - say what you like , he knew the truth about MB.

Fun, She lives in Sweden, I had just rung her to see how she was, my answer was, " probably darling you were behaving the way you are now" and put down the phone.

I should not answer threads are talking to her:confused:

There we go again!

Dipsticks not staying in; heavy breathing;...
I am appalled! :D

Not to mention the boring, the conning and the rodding. Sometimes there was a lot of grinding and I often ended up on my back, underneath.
I can understzand the man's problem though - not being able to keep his dipstick in.

Priceless! :D

Interesting replies..

Well the car hasnt been written off so under repair, back on the 11th with new parts. The inspector babe, and she was defo a babe, walked round the car and asked for any damage prior to the shunt. I said, nothing but the engine defo performed and sounded better before the accident and could do with changing..her reply.'the engineers will check and advise if any damage has been done to the engine'. followed by tumbleweed.

In a strange way her not getting my attempt at humour made her seem more of a babe, what a professional.

Anyway, will check the whole system when back and ill be changing garages too and doing the compression test to see whats happening.

back in the glorified beetle for this week though..missed it terribly.
