Dipstick part number 168 589 01 21 00 - what's it for please?

Hi,
Can anyone out there please help identify what this dipstick tool is for exactly?
It's part number: 168 589 01 21 00. It's got a green handle on it.
I initially thought it was an ATF dipstick for some models of A class, but there's something in the back of my mind saying it was for engine oil?
Does anyone know please?

I'm pretty sure that the oil dipsticks are red/orange

Inserted into standard transfer tube on your car, and oil level can be read.

Looks like a gearbox oil (ATF fluid) dipstick.

I have one of these dipsticks for checking the gearbox oil level on my A-class (W168).
