I vote for the headgasket (but then again I would). Do you notice the car running slightly rough at first start up after it has sat for a few hours as the water burns off?

On an unrelated matter, I am currently having a hell of a time trying to reseal the top timing cover.
I have removed the distributor cap, arm and most of the bolts but there is a torx screw holding the distributor arm holder on and the head has rounded; access to that area is extremely difficult aswell due to the fan shroud which doesn't want to come out.
