display battery voltage on dash didplay

Hi how do i get the battery voltage on the dash display on my e 320 cdi 53 reg ?

Key into postion 1 (i.e the one before everything lights up) and with display set to speed press trip meter reset button three times quickly.

Should be a beep and on scrolling through the voltage dispaly will appear. Oil level read out in litres will be in there as well somewhere

That's great info , is there a similar trick to show the fuel left in a 2012 S204?
It seems that whenever the fuel is getting low, and you are monitoring the distance remaining it ditches the numbers and just shows the pic with the petr pump. Thanks just when you need some decent info you get a piccy!
