Do you wait at Zebra crossings after the pedestrian has passed your side of the road?

There are those who don't stop at all, whether the person is stood waiting for cars to stop, or the person is half way across in front of a stopped car. I've seen that several times.

When approaching a crossing - if I can see that accelerating hard won't take anyone out I feel the challenge is over and let them cross.

If they then saunter and dawdle - I put the foot on the brake, floor it and count to 3.

If they are not clear of the crossing then, I will leave a black and red 11.

...otherwise just wait until they have reached the other side but not necessarily stepped on the pavement but are well clear.

As a pedestrian I like to cross and turn to look at the waiting car, just as they expect a wave I give them the finger.

I love that, anything like that.

I hope you end up crossing in front of JohnEBoy if that's the case. :D
