OK, so it's not a Merc, but I thought this Capri might attract some interest!
It's being auctioned for the "Help For Heroes" foundation.

Good cause, awful car.

I mate of mine had one back in the late 80's. Cortina in drag. Awful engine, brakes, suspension. Live rear axle. Shocking.

Jumping out of an Alfa into that was like going back to the stone age.

And there were always knuckle draggers coming up with the "nice car mate" stuff which was embarrassing.

He used to park it unlocked with the windows open in the hope that someone might nick it.
