Does the 230K have a MAF ?

Finally got around to servicing my W208 2.3 Komp. I just did an oil, filter and air filter as it was an A service. However when i removed the air box there was no sign of a MAF, instead there is a butterfly mechanism which lead off to the supercharger and another pipe witch leads to the engine for aspiration.

Does a 1998 W208 (CLK) 2.3K have a MAF ?

Hi cant help with the maf but could you tell me what mpg you get had mine now 3 month best ever 23mpg very dissapointed had lots of mercs and always been reasonable mpg

Yes, it does have a MAS but I can't remember where on the pipe it is...

Hi Gareth,

Just follow the pipework from the intercooler towards the inlet manifold, you'll find it easily enough I'm sure but if you're really stuck let us know.

How hard do you drive? we get around 30mpg, which i'm pleased with, even fully (i mean fully) loaded with a roof box we managed 28mpg on a fast run across europe (90-100mph)
