Does the SL 55 come with a fire extinguisher under drivers seat as standard?

HI, so mine has not got one and it hasn't got the sticker, its a 2006 SL 55 amy, did it originally have one you think?

Does 2006 SL 55 come with a red battery + terminal rear boot battery cap? mine has not but instead has a large black cap over the whole of the rear battery, should it also have the red cap that has sticker on it that says 'supply battery'?

As yours is a late 230 it will have the black cover.

Mine is 2008 - it has the red cover over one terminal only

Cool, is it an sl 55? So does the battery in the boot have the red cap under the big black cap? Does this say supply battery on it? Cheers

I think new SL 55s only have this red cap on the front battery only yes?

Extinguisher is better mounted under the passenger seat - in case it comes out of its holder and rolls under the pedals !

That's where I always put mine ; still readily accessible .
