When purchasing car:

"And if you should ever break down just one phone call to Mobilo Life and we'll sort it out quickly, get a comparable car out to you if necessary, and get you on your way."

The reality:

16.45 Bang - Diff disintegrates? - No forward or reverse gears.
16.54 Call Mobilo - "We'll get someone out to you and let you know what's happening within 30 minutes."
17.36 Call Mobilo - "What's happening?" - "Hold and I'll check.......3 minutes....Sorry, the technician has rejected the call as he's too far away, we'll get someone else out."
17.48 Mobilo call me to take details for hire car and arrange for it to be delivered to recovery company's premises - they can't deliver to me at the roadside , it has to be to an address???.
18.11 Recovery company ring to say on their way.
18.20 Recovered to depot arriving at 19.15.
19.50 Hire company turn up to drive us 20 miles in the wrong direction to pick up the hire car which is a 1 litre Toyota Yaris.
20.15 On the road again.

3 and a half hours and a Toyota Yaris.

I was going to say a positively third world experience but that would be an insult to underdeveloped countries.

I'm surprised at the choice of hire car. When I used mobilo a couple of years ao they sent a brand new E class estate. They had threatened a Chrysler something - the one that looks like a puny hot rod but must have changed their mind.

I was sent a Yaris by a bodyshop once and it sat i the drive for 2 weeks as neither of us would touch it.

How long do you get the hire car for? I thought it was only 48 hours from mobilo rather than as lomg as it takes if it's a warranty repair.
