Car
1999 SLK Kompressor and a Honda CRV (the latter gone but not forgotten)
This has simply *got* to have been done before, but I've searched several ways and all I get is a message saying 'parse error', so...

Does your car have a name? This could either be just on your head (come on, 'fess up) or one that's known in the family or wider.

I'll confess first. The little, old, SLK in Designo Electric Green is known to friends and family as 'the green meanie'. A bit naff, I know.

Your turn...

Lol, no, sorry, none of mine have.
If however you were to run similar search on Eddie Stobart fan page....;)

Bitch.
Not you. The car.

My motor has been nicknamed 'the beast' by others at work.

I don't do names for cars really although I know my dad used many years ago with his cars (albeit not for a long time actually) - usually based on the number plates (like ELN12J was Ellen).

I also have a "beast", the SE500, the SL is know as "The Banana"

The Merc hasn't got one yet, but I've had a few that were named, occasionally by me

Toyota Supra - Doopra
Marcos - Imelda
Subaru Imprezza - Rocket Powered Rollerskate
BMW 530D - Blobmobile
BMW 730D - The Barge

In a word, No, but......

"My car", which if Mrs Baxlin is speaking is the Skoda, as opposed to "your car", which if she's speaking is the MB.

And vice versa

My wife likes to attach names to my vehicles, she calls my Ducati Daphnie, she doesn't seem to have given my Merc a name yet (only had it 4 months). She hasn't named the Kawasaki, it just sits in the garage under a cover anyway (out of sight, out of mind I suppose), she used to call my old Mondeo ST220 Mandy.

The MB is Katie, 'cos the numberplate is KT08 and the Comand voice is a pleasant polite lady. It's also known as the shopping trolley or "her car", whereas the 968 is My car or Daddies baby!

We do have names for our cars:
C32 AMG is Nobby
ML270 CDi is Milly
ML63 AMG is Milly II

Previous car include:
Olly, an Omega
Colin, a Corsa
Sandra, a Nova

We even named our caravan, Karren :)

Seeing as I'm a Geordie, I gave mine a posh double barreled name...Norfolk 'n Good.

my mate named his Boxster Barry , he's good with car names , his old Astra estate was called Alan , it was ****

Every car I own is usually on it's last stop before the scrap yard ........

They are all called ...... "start you f**ing piece of sh*t"

That reminds me of my Brother buying a Cortina Mk5 from a scrap yard. One night he was out at a remote nightclub and his car and two others got stolen.

The Crims went onto torch the cars, or at least did the brand new Volvo and the other newer car, but couldn't get the Cortina to light up...

That car just didn't want to die...

Have not got a name for my CLK, but the kids have named the wife's car "Satsuma". Its an orange Audi A2.
