Hi again. Does anybody here have the ability to find out the number of my offside
driver's door module? Just tried removing the door card but don't have any star bits.
Chassis number WDB2083482T112135. Car is clk 230 2002 51 plate. Would appreciate any help then I can order one from the uk .

I have a problem that from time to time the drivers window doesn't work and the seat doesn't move and have been advised that it's the door module playing up.

5 - Window regulator - A2087200846
8 - Electric windows motor - A2088202842
35 - Electric seat module - A2087202048

Are you sure where is the problem?

Thanks for that.
I am not sure. All I know is that when you open the drivers door normally the window should drop a tad. If this happens, the window will work and the seat will move forwards or backwards, but if when the door is opened and the window doesn't drop, it will not be possible to move the seat nor will the electric window work. The window I can live with but with the wife being 5'2" and me at 6'0" it's impossible for me to get in the car after she has driven it.

Just noticed that most of the door modules on EBay the numbers end in 26?

You can find the part number from: Google Translate

Or they will state on ebay what model and year car they are for. Most likely you will need to get it properly programmed for your car using STAR.

Sounds expensive. Can't I just buy a secondhand one and plug it in? Everything is so much more expensive here in France. For example transit connect starter motor: UK £65 delivered to France, here 330€! Rear screen for my W124 coupe, UK £560, here 1536€, same company Autoglass/Carglass! I would have to sell my house before I took it to Mercedes. Anybody want to buy the car cheap if I drive it back to the UK?

Ring a uk merc dealer and give them the reg / vin number and ask them for the module part number
