Solved this problem with this years Goldfish Car Care Christmas present.

I got an Oreck XL vacuum cleaner. http://www.oreck.co.uk/products/list.ouk/handheld

It will apparently pick up a bowling ball. The reason I got this is because you can plug the hose onto the air outlet to form a blower. I wizz around the car along the trim bits and it blows out all the water. Then I give it a once over with the microfibre drying towl.

Problem solved.

I have also heard you can get a similiar result with a leaf blower :D .

My neighbours do think im mad - every sunday morning having cleaned and dried the easiest areas i can be observed 'kissing' my car ...... ok ok so i cant afford a blower hehehe but i eradicate most water and get a cardio workout!! hehhe :p :bannana:
I still think my £4 can of Dust Off is the best value and least embarrassing!

god damn it! I sell dust off!!! never thought of it!!! duuuuuuuuuurrrrrrr.......

and yes catch I know exactly what you mean - a little old lady beckoned me to her door last year and informed me how much her late husband would have loved my car - she asked whether she could sit in it - I said ok (STOOOPID!) she revved it for about 2 seconds on the red line then chuckled - she said lots of nice things while i was dying inside and as she got out slid her zip across the wheel arch - 4 hours of buffing and i got it out....

when you have something you love you cant park it anywhere you cant leave it you cant let it get too dirty - you worry about the wheels you worry about the ambient temp in the garage and humidity - ARRRGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!
