None of this namby pamby compact estate mince....:D

Boiler,
Flue,
7 rads (4 @ 1200mm long)
Tools,
Room to spare (loads).

And I didn't even move the front seats forward from their set positions.

E Class rules .

Yep thats what they do, its the way they roll. My year '99 will do all that. What a pity its so rust prone.

Had a old boiler in the back of mine last year.

My father had a W123 280TE estate. I remember him squeezing in a unfeasably long worktop. So long that it was touching the windscreen, and resting on the passenger street headrest, which acted just like a pivot when he pushed the other end down to close the tailgate:doh:

Careful with the hearse:thumb:

Not quite touching the windscreen...but passenger seat folded flat:

I've got a C250 Estate as a courtesy car at the moment. I was surprised how small it was in the back with the seats folded. Wonder what the shooting brake is like.

I admit you can't do that in mine. I still love mine though.

Estates are great - our Vito Long has caging for the dogs in the back so ironically we often end up using Mrs BTB's Audi to shift things. But that's a tiddler compared to an E Class :)

And if there is no room left inside, stick on top, or out the back:

Pfffttt - call that a boot...

THIS is a boot - get your load in without even putting the BACK seats down! :D
