E-tyres

Ha Ha, no 19" Michelins.

I paid £1060 for 4 x 19" Michelin Supersports which are about the best you can get so the MB Stealer was well up for robbing you if they were anything less, or the same for that matter.

Another big thumbs up for Event Tyres - used them on the wifes, and they sent me back to the MB dealers because the replacement wheel they had supplied for her MOT (old one was cracked) was buckled and had been split-balanced which is neither good practice nor apparently "legal"?

All sorted, and they were utterly meticulous on cleaning the wheels before fitting the new ones, inspecting for any damage and just treating the car with the care I would if I was doing it.

Thanks for the feedback-free punture repairs is a bonus too:thumb:

It's not really, mobile fitter will come & fix puncture for free, but, in my case that was 3 or 4 days later and only after they take your credit card details and charge you for the new tyre he has to bring in case the puncture cannot be fixed.

My puncture was on a winter tyre, they could not even source a replacement as there were none in the UK, so he just came and fixed the puncture but still charged my card and I had to make a couple of phone calls to the office to get my money back.

I used to use them all the time, but their prices are not the cheapest anymore. Better try MyTyres or Blackcircles, I find them cheaper.

E-tyres fixed the slow puncture on our Audi last week (screw in the tyre) without any issues, although I was having two new tyres fitted at the same time.

Always worth checking if your local tyre dealer will price match.

My local STS Tyre Pros matched Camskill for price when I asked them.
