Does anyone know anything about doing this conversion?
There seems to be a little information floating about regarding converting the ML 320 to a 7 seater but nothing regarding the E class.
I know it's possible but is it feasible/advisable?

Any suggestions welcome.

Boyde does this for W124 and i think its more or less the same for the newer E class.

I think all the mounting points are already there.....

We've a W211 7 seater in the workshop thats being converted to a hearse, I'll have a look at it and compare it to a standard W211 to see if all the mountings are there.

I'm pretty sure its a bolt in conversion, but getting hold of all the parts could be tricky, especially here in Ireland, not going to be too cheap new either.

Try Traynors in Armagh, they might have the bits

Hi,

I checked today, its a straight forward bolt in job once you can get your hands on all the parts.

The parts we take out will be available, as they wont be used on the Hearse we have one full setup in the store and another will be available in a few weeks, both setups are from delivery mileage vehicles so are as new.

What colour interior do you need one for and I'll check the ones we have

My car is metallic blue with black leather interior.
