The glow plug light comes on as normal, goes off, start the car which runs a little uneven for a second or 2, then light comes back on for a while.

Am I right in thinking a glow plug is faulty?

I'm sure I've seen a post about replacing them but can't find it now.

Can anybody point me in the right direction?

If using the American website version, do not remove the washer bottle it is pointless.(i broke the screen waher motor in the process).
Quite simple to do allow 2hrs if all is straight foward or 8hrs if you clean all the gunk out of the inlet manifold.
I would change all the plugs while you are at it and buy a new manifold gasket too they are only ~£4-5 mine needed a new one.

Thanks for info, I've checked out the link & decided I'd sooner pay S & R Motors for 2hrs labour rather than freeze my whatsits off & probably get stuck anyway!!

On a slightly different note when I had a Scorpio Cosworth on their forum the first thing that was recommended when anyone had performance or autobox problems was to clean the MAF, and it usually effected a cure. Can anyone tell me where it is on mine as I'd like to check it just out of curiousity.

In the air pipe immediately after the air filter box.
