Picky, but...the engine is 3226cc, the later engine in the W211 was 3222cc.

This has been on eBay a couple of times. I asked the fella for the registration plate and logbook reference to verify mileage. All I got after contacting the seller a couple of times was the registration plate, no logbook reference and told that there was no history.

I would be very careful if you choose to bid/buy.

My post was not meant to cause any offence. You did reply to my email after the second request, but you did not provide me with the information that I had asked. I had asked for the registration plate and logbook reference in order to check the mileage. Please feel free to provide this information now.

I always check the mileage before I go to see a car because the car could have been clocked. I am not saying that you have/would do this, but many a time I have checked a low mileage car for it to be 200,000 or higher! The seller was not even aware themselves because it was like that when they bought it.

I hope that I have clarified myself.

this car was up for sale on ebay a year ago when i was looking for my current e320 it sold a total of 4 times in the 3 mounth period i was looking i even asked quetions about it myself a lot of people seamed to have bid and won this car yet over a year has passed and its still advertised with the same ad unbelivable how many times has it sold since then ? without wanting to sound judgemental alot of people must have walked away for some reason at the time my take on it was it was a scam ad sold by vadgama1973 but i must be wrong ! but still ! __________________unbelivable !
