I don't know how to hard reset it, but you can try power-cycling it (cold boot) by removing the fuse.

Try this or take off the battery earth.

Ok folks,

Update time

I got the head unit out.
Removed the internal hdd and started it
Moved it to Japan region again and all fired up good. Radio frequency is off a bit but all functions work nonetheless.
Turned it off and inserted the hdd back in.
Turned it on again and works again. Even bettet than the mod it had on it before.

So all good. Neet to shop for the android device now.

You needed a Fm adaptor to use on imports for the radio to be correct .
