Does anyone have an aftermarket carbon diffuser fitted to their E/SL/CL/C55/C63?

I could do with a few pointers as to the best method to securely fix this to the car. It has been supplied without any tape/clips and I wonder if anyone could share their experience.
Looking at the oe diffuser, it appears the clips will not fit the new diffuser as it is far thicker (10mm approx) as oppose to the oe flimsy plastic of a couple of mm. I want to avoid drilling any holes for fixing.

Thanks.

Not sure exactly what you have there, but my own one, Eurotek, I ( and I am totally not DIY) heated up the outer OEM rear lower bumper skin, and slowly peeled it off, albeit, it came off in two or three pieces. I then cleaned the old inner skin thoroughly with an alcohol based cleaner. My own new spoiler did come with a double sided tape, two stripes, one upper and one lower, but I added a further load of 200 degree based silicon addisive to it and planted it on. Not fallen off yet, even at 198mph at Vmax.
Think the trick is, to make sure the bonding surfaces are really clean, then bond it on with a quality addisive.
Best of luck

Cheers Ricky.
I'm not too sure what make this diffuser is. Bought it from an E63 owner here who never used it. Looks a nice example with 3 big fins.

Yep, silicon adhesive is a good idea. Double sided tape as in carpet tape?

hi I had problems stick various carbon bits on my car... tape is super tough but if you are a bit of a novice.. like I was, once put down and in wrong place its a bugger to get off then reposition.. I then got the silicone bond stuff... there is someone on ebay doing various colours.. I bought this and found it great.. it allowed me to adjust and even though I had to use tape to hold in place, it done the job... I used it on carbon mirror caps, rear spoiler.... the tape is great like I said and if you know what you are doing, then fine and no waiting like the silicone based stuff

Took the diffuser down to my bodyshop and after speaking with the owner I'm letting him do the job. He uses various products for carbon fibre and thinks silicone adhesive is the best method to securely attach it.
Just have to wait a couple of weeks until he has a clear slot to do the job.

I'll take before and after pics and put them up when completed.
Thanks for your input as well Kalvin.
