I managed to get the works, heated, cooled, blue inserts and dynamic. Cooled is poor, heated fine. Dynamic is quite cool but I don't tend to use it. Fun to switch it on when you have unsuspecting passengers and then chuck it around a few corners.
Audi TT RS 2.5 , Zanussi Wd12: - LG Combi Multiwave - Swan 9 slice toaster with removable crumb tray
Mine has the heated ,vibrating, pulsing, bostlered pumping, cooling gizmo seats & the rears are heated but I don't think cooled...cooling is not great but heated is quite penetrating...lol
Once I'm over 3500rpm TBH I could be sat on an orange box as the scenery starts flying at me & sod the seats ...
Appreciate the info AMgeed. I won't make the meet on the 18th. But will take your advice on the exhaust mod. If and when I decide to go ahead with it. Again thanks for the advice.
Yes - all the ventilated seats have are just a number of small motors with fans on them behind the seat foam. Although the air itself isn't cooled if you have the air con (or heating in winter!) running I guess they help to regulate the temperature a bit quicker It probably helps that there are heater/air con ducts just below the seats too so they can draw in the regulated cabin air rather than say mainly air from outside if the windows were open.
It's not a massively noticeable option but to be honest I drive some other cars with non-perforated (or vented) leather and in hot weather you really do notice the difference.
In the CL the fans are in the backrest cushion and seat base so I'd be surprised if the W211 was different. You can hear them more noticeably in the CL but I guess that's probably because it's a much quieter car (double glazed etc) where as the E55 is much more vocal and less insulated!
Mine are ventilated front and heated but don't have the dynamic option. What does the dynamic seats actually do ? The ventilated seats don't really achieve much but do ventilate slightly I suppose. I do have the manual side bolster buttons. The car is absolutely awesome. I am considering an exhaust mod to hear that SC v8 a little more but don't want to get any drone at all. What's the best way to go to achieve this without any drone cruising around. As 90% of my driving is cruising but would like to get more v8 noise .
Alternative (bit pricier but a good one) to removing secondary cats and x pipe is to go with primary cat delete and new headers (eurocharged or kleeman). you will get a much bigger performance advantage from this route and also a superb sound with zero drone. Pussycat to 50s F1 car in a push of the accelerator. Just depends what you want to spend.

They do make a big difference and as you state - create no drone.
I'm glad I went down this route - you get out what you put in!
I put a clip of mine in my ad on here - on one of them, when the car is turned round and started to accelerate, you can hear the whine quite distinctively and then of course the V8 orchestra commence the performance shortly after.
