Ignore the last bit of message Tom, for some reason it didn't show your entire message before I replied!!

hahaha no worries, they are expensive for what they are imo, 360mm monoblock discs and they are over £500 a pop.
My 410mm AP Racing discs on my RS6 were only £370 a disc and they were full floating.
So if you have the spare money laying around get BG to make you a bigger disc and space out the oem calliper using a differnt bracket.. or different calipers.
Hi Mark hope you're well.I had PSS before too on my Z4M Roadster and also thought they were excellent.
I still have 7MM on the Contis and really hope they bring out the Pilot 4S (they arent available for the rear - 285/35zr19) but PSS are available - even as a M01 / M0 homologation, so when it is time I will give them a try.
Just was wondering if anyone actually ran them on an E63 and could comment on the characteristics in this particular case.

One other thing, as the service history is all digital, is there any way of obtaining a copy or phoning someone to get all the information?

Hi,Hi Mark hope you're well.
Well, we kept PZeros on the E63 - I didn't like them.
Now, the C63 has come on PSS 19" and they are rough and noisy as hell. They do grip amazing but they are rough. On the E however, their is much more sound deadening and it may be just fine.
Ring MB UK and or any local dealer and give them the reg, just say your inquiring about said car and could you have acopy of the service records to tie in with the dealer selling the car.
Thanks,
They will provide it as there are no personal details held on file, its just a service record.
Well I just found out that the car was serviced by my local Merc dealer in Orpington so thought I'd see what info they could give me.
Turns out that the discs were changed at 28k miles and the new set have done over 30k miles, so I would say they definitely need replacing soon.
Thanks for the help.
Agreed, mine have covered around 17k since being replaced and are ruined, i have small cracks on the drills and they are heat spotted and totally worn out, pedal feel isnt the best, cars taking a side seat while i save up and get some cash sorted for new wheels and a 410mm brake upgrade like on my RS6/GTR.
Need to invest in some proper discs with a floating bell, what annoys me is the W211 E63 comes with floating rotors yet the W212 comes with monoblock's... such a shame.
Even the S model recieves no such upgrade :|
Some we things you learn - the boot opener in the car can also close it.
Some really handy features, for the first time I ran into reserve fuel level yesterday, and immediately COMMAND pops up and asks if you want a list of filling stations in the area
Thanks ShaunYep. Push forward and it closes the boot
