Early Model 124 Steering Wheel Into A Late Model 124?

Will one of these fit into a 1996 124 gents? Anybody know for sure, or how to adapt it to fit........??

Also see those flashy silver things around the heater vents, has anybody ever seen them done in burl?

The steering wheel will fit but you`ll need to mess about with the horn rings,I don`t see the point of it myself
As for the burl bits,I`m sure I seen them for sale but can`t remember wether Japan or US

That knob is nice though

I bought a very nice similar wood/leather job off my mate Dash. It fits my pre-facelift 124's a treat. Tried moving onto a facelifted 124 - it can be done but too much savagery involved. So it stayed on my pre-facelift. I sit and wait now for the correct wheel for the facelifted version to top up on ebay.
