Eletric folding mirror fault

I recently bought a c220 cdi. I tried the folding button for the first time and the driver side mirror is stuck. I hear a click but nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong?

No, they do stick, try spraying some white lithium grease (Not WD40) available from Halfords etc into the mechanism. If you gently push the mirror whilst operating the switch it will almost certainly move inward and you can then see where to lubricate it.

Thanks. I will give that a go later in the week. I was too scared to push on mirror in case it breaks.
Will have to pop into halfords for lithium grease as I only have WD40

It will not break , I have had to lubricate mine a couple of times. WD 40 will just wash off and leave a sticky residue, the lithium greas will stick much better and last a lot longer. You can also try silicon spray but I have found it does not last as long as lithium grease.
