Engine coil light stays on - ML320 CDI

As per the subject the little coil light on the dash that normally goies out when the pre heat has finished is now staying on when I start the the engine.

When I turn on the ignition the lights goes out and comes back on when I start it. Anyone got any ideas.

I have tried searching but the search function deosn;t seem to work.

Either you have one or more glow plug faulty or the glow plug unit is kaput. A test on a Star will reveal all.

Cheers Olly, looks like I may need to get the front pads changed sooner rather than later so I can get this looked at.
