I keep looking at this and talking myself out of it... I had a 190E in the early 90's and only have fond memories of it.

Real nice car that, can't justify it for myself but someone will have a very cool car.

Why talk yourself out of it, relive your memories. ;)

Tried a W124 Estate last week for this very reason - same period of my life - and came away thinking age increasingly tints my glasses a deeper shade of red with the passing of time!

It does look nice though (or would with the original Sportline interior).

The original sportline interior is avalible, and has been redone. It drives like a new car, not a 20 year old one. You would'nt be dissapointed...

If I didnt have 5 cars allready it would'nt be for sale.:D

You say that as if its a bad thing ? Ask your average 201 124 owner if they would prefer "old" (nee quality) or modern creaky mercedes I know what the answer would be.

Yes the proper sport option sportline interior is available but as they are a lot rarer (and better) than the cosworth leathers and consequently go for substantial money on eBay.de I will be better off selling separately.

I had quite a bit of interest on eBay but so far its all been from people oop north so no buyers as yet !

I'm oop North and would love it but need to get rid of some cars not buy more. A 190 is the only Merc from the 80,s and 90's I haven't owned. Not through lack of trying just never found the right cosworth or factory AMG 2.6 but this is even better a Q baby hammer what's not to like.

Certainly looks like a beast Carat and something i'd have a look at if i had the cash! The only thing i can think of to better the advert is to get some new clearer/larger pictures to really show it off.

Brett get some more pics up! Will the car be in the SE area (near Dash) this weekend at all?!

I like it.

I've always liked the sportier 190E and that one is cracking.

Proper 80s car.

It's 300 yards from dash !

I really should join the late 20th century and actually buy a digital camera !

That is a really nice 190 :D really tempted by it. The 104 engine should of been in them as standard

Brett:All the coments ^ should be enough of a reason for you to keep it instead
It`s a lovely car mate and a lot of money and hard work has gone into it,keep it mate

He will regret it if he sells it, talk him out of it Dash!

The ad has me convinced i need it but not the other half...how about a bit written to the other half?!
