The poll on this thread http://www.mbclub.co.uk/forums/events/191830-essex-kent-london-area-curry-gtg.html gave results for Orsett (4), Benfleet (3), Cranham (1) and one for another unspecified venue. To start the ball rolling, I suggest we try for the first Curry meet at Orsett (A13 junction with A128) which is an easy five miles or so from the M25. Depending on how it goes, we can then try Benfleet, another venue as yet to be declared or return to Orsett if everyone is happy.

The next step is to decide what days and times suit. The poll is for days of the week (and you can select more than one day) but because I can't do a separate poll for times, PLEASE POST YOUR PREFERRED TIME RANGE e.g. after 5pm, no later than 7pm start etc. I am guessing most will prefer Friday through to Sunday but as I am entirely flexible, others might be too.

Thanks in advance and hopefully we can get this off the ground in the next couple or three weeks.

EDIT: My intention is to visit the venue when the poll has run for a bit. The car park has an add on section that will hold about ten cars easily (I think) and I will ask if they would section it off for us seeing as it may become a regular meet!

Sorry, don't go on the forum as often as I used to!

why not put up a date and then you may get more definite numbers :)

fully understand, but you aren't going to please everyone. Ive organised gtg's when it was me and 1 other member!

Indeed- I went to an MB Club pub meet in Canterbury 2 weeks ago which is regularly published in The Gazette. The organiser , his wife and I were the only attendees.......

Maybe it was me!
