Hello All.
My daughter's 1993 190E has failed its NCT (Irish version of MOT) due to excessive play in the steering. I have heard there may be an adjustment mechanisim on the steering box to eliminate the problem. Can anyone give me any help and advice on this?
1. If this info is true, can the adjustment be done with the box in place?
2. where exactly on the steering box can this adjusting screw be?
3. is there much to replacing this part?
